“You’re Not God” is taken from the release of the first official Peaky Blinders Soundtrack, which also features Calvi’s cover of FKA Twigs’ “Papi Pacify”. Earlier this year, Anna Calvi wrote and performed the score for the entirety of season 5 of Peaky Blinders (available to watch on BBC iPlayer in the UK and Netflix), this was her first television score. Calvi has now also been commissioned to score season 6 of the show as well. Anna Calvi’s third album Hunter, released in August 2018, was recently shortlisted for the 2019 Hyundai Mercury Prize – this marked her third consecutive nomination, the only solo artist to have achieved that feat.
