After an electric show at Latitude, and an explosive set at Reading/Leeds festival, Augustines take to the road for 8 UK dates throughout late November and December finishing off with their biggest show to date at The Roundhouse December 8th and the same day sees their anthemic new single ‘Cruel City’ on Caroline International.
The band’s November-December UK Tour starts at Newcastle Riverside on the 29th November.
“Augustines are quietly becoming the best live band around. Band of the people? No contest”.
Powered by tribal rhythms, ‘Cruel City’ is written by Billy McCarthy and produced by Peter Katis (The National, Frightened Rabbit, Interpol) and is the fourth single taken from their self-titled second album. You can listen to it on Soundcloud (below)or Spotify.
They are also offering fans the chance to get in on the touring experience. #ProjectHorn is in full swing to find one super talented trombone, trumpet or saxophone player to perform with Augustines at their live shows across Europe, from Poland to Dublin, November 3rd to December 9th. Horn players from continental Europe, North America and Great Britain are eligible and the pick of the bunch will be flown out, all expenses paid, to join the band on the tour bus.
