BABY STRANGE: Glasgwegian punk band announce new single ‘Friend’
Released September 9th via Chess Club Records as a limited 7” and digital outlets
Glasgow’s BABY STRANGE return to the fray with news of a new single ‘Friend’ on September 9th via Chess Club.
Following the release of their debut single ‘Pure Evil’ back in May, the band have built up a burgeoning fanbase courtesy of their now well documented incendiary live shows both in Scotland and London. With a handful of shows with (self confessed) fans Palma Violets, BABY STRANGE have plugged into a similar vein of youthful exuberance and dragged it kicking and snarling into their own corner.
Generations wide of punk, too young for Britpop and the wrong side of double digits for the start of the millennium, BABY STRANGE career into view with another brilliant two and half minutes maelstrom of Ramones tinged wonder that will undoubtedly continue their upward trajectory. As their recent live shows have shown, the band traverse a line of new and old whilst discharging their own brooding rock n roll volleys across the musical bows.
