Bad Grammar – Clown (Out Feb 23rd via FlatPack Records)

Bad Grammar are one of the current crop of rocking duos that are rising to the top. Ben (vocals, guitar) and Lucy (drums) deliver razor sharp riffs and caustic wit served up as fuzzy alt rock.
With the likes of Slaves and Royal Blood dominating the airwaves it is surely time for this Mancunian two piece to rule in 2015.
Clown starts with lairy drums before a buzz saw guitar slashes things up like a samurai sword wielding psychopath.
Bad Grammar are experts in creating frenetic, furious tunes with Ben’s trademark part schizo, wholly passionate emotive vocals rampaging through the mix.
At just over two and a half minutes Clown is a mosh pit anthem to cherish and a song that should see Bad Grammar rightly take their place as best duo.
They currently tour everywhere constantly so do yourself a favour and get down to see one of the greatest live acts on the road. 8/10
