Baddiel, Skinner & Lightning Seeds celebrate 30 years of ‘Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home)’…

As the wait continues and the hurt is ever present, Baddiel, Skinner & Lightning Seeds once again get behind the England national football team with the 30th anniversary of their era-defining anthem ‘Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home)’. The iconic track will again be the soundtrack to the summer as England head into another World Cup this summer. The track will be available June 12th HERE.

The special 30th Anniversary edition features brand new illustrated artwork by Guardian cartoonist David Squires, with the vinyl including Three Lions (Remastered), Three Lions (Karaoke) and the CD single with an additional two tracks: Three Lions (Jules Rimet Extended Mix), Three Lions (Sake Bar Remix).

‘Three Lions’ remains a truly unique chart phenomenon. It is the only song ever to reach UK Number One on four separate occasions with the same artist — twice in 1996 on its original release, for three consecutive weeks during the 1998 World Cup, and again in 2018 when it made chart history by jumping from No.24 to No.1 in a single week.
