Nashville trio BASECAMP dropped their new Greater Than EP via OWSLA today. The project is a fully realized collection of R&B-tinged dance tracks inspired by the group’s admiration for art and the more technical aspects of electronic music. The lead track “Watch My Back” amassed over 100k plays in less than three weeks and features the undeniable seduction that surrounds the EP.
In celebration of the new EP, the trio will be throwing a release party in Los Angeles tonight at a secret location (RSVPs will receive location info later today) and will include special guests. They will also be performing a handful of shows around the country – full tour dates below.

“‘Greater Than,’ like our first EP, was birthed out of experimentation. Every song we did started with almost no direction or concept, so it was always interesting to see where they landed. It allowed each song it’s own identity without totally breaking the continuity. I think there was a good deal of evolution for us over the course of making this record.” – BASECAMP

TOUR DATES:
8/21 – Secret Location – Los Angeles, CA – RSVP
9/1 – Mississippi Studios – Portland, OR
9/24 – Del Monte Speakeasy – Venice, CA
