As premiered on DIY
“enough punch to get every nerve ending on red alert. It’s a snarling beast of a track.” DIY
“Lyrics scathe, guitar riffs snarl, and rhythms pummel their way towards freewheeling sensation”Upset
“a ripper in the AmRep style”BrooklynVegan
“An explosion of tightly wound anger designed for dark, crowded venues and energetic motions of reckless abandon, “Demuie” is as freeing as the fire that burns within it.”The Line of Best Fit
“a masterclass in furious garage punk” DIY
“From Belgium, these European punks take a shit load of anger for tedium and monotony and write that into some brazen, unhinged garage-punk, as much a statement as a dressing down for every single person not losing themselves to the unmissable sounds they are making.”Wax Music
“the embodiment of everything that is good about garage rock and punk, fused together it has created a gigantic sound that is layered in fuzzed out riffs and snarling vocals” – Clunk Mag

The Ghent based quartet Mind Rays first appeared on the Belgian music scene in 2013, and have since made a reputation for themselves as one of the best live bands in the region, with countless wild and chaotic gigs in Belgium, Holland and France. Last year they released a split 7” with fellow Ghent act Teen Creeps on Oddie Records and a cassette EP on the Los Angeles based label Gnar Tapes, while supporting the likes of King Khan & The Shrines, Wand, Ausmuteants and Rocket From the Tombs.
Now Mind Rays have signed to PNKSLM Recordings for the release of their debut LP Nerve Endings on March 24 – and it’s simply one of the best garage punk records we’ve heard in a long time, instantly blowing us away on first listen.
