Excited to be sending you over the new Bete Noire video that has just premiered over on Q earlier, the 5-piece from London are big favourites of ours and they’ve been rapidly picking up support from the likes of NME, Clash Magazine, Q Magazine, Artrocker and XFM following their last release. The band are set to release this track ‘Bile’ as a new single on July 27th and when thing’s fairly sure BBC Radio may not entertain the ‘Bile’ single during daytimes, but that shouldn’t distract a play of the new single’s video below
BÊTE NOIRE RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘BILE’ THIS JULY
“Matching the glamorous melancholy of early Interpol to the intensity of The Fall, a frenetic piece of distorted, black clad rock ‘n’ roll” Clash Magazine
“Hook-laden millennial post-punk, full of nocturnal bass and jagged guitars… thrilling” NME
London-based band Bête Noire have announced the release of their new single ‘Bile’ on July 27th, as well as a launch show at London’s Hoxton Square Bar & Grill on July 24th.
Despite only having been an entity since mid-2013, the 5-piece have already built up an impressive reputation in London’s independent scene with their darkly sinister brand of indie-rock.
After releasing their debut track ‘Shut Your Mouth’ in late 2013, Bête Noire performed an almost relentless stream of acclaimed London shows, leading to supports with the likes of Tripwires and Bernard Butler, and winning praise from the likes of NME, Clash Magazine, Q Magazine, XFM and Artrocker.
Now the band further showcase their unique style with the release of single ‘Bile’ this July. Building on their growing reputation for a darkly sinister brand of indie-rock, ‘Bile’ is a sultry, sleazy cut of infectious rock that earmarks Bête Noire out as a serious ‘one to watch’ this year.
‘Bile’ (out July 27th)
‘Bile’ is out on July 27th 2015 from all good digital stores. Bete Noire will perform at Hoxton Bar & Grill in London on July 24th.
