(March 27, 2014 – Toronto, ON) – Biblical has premiered a new music video for “All Justice No Peace” with Paste Magazine. Directed by Eva Michon, the eerie and enigmatic nature of the “cult” inspired video is further enhanced by the band’s roaring rock sonics with psychedelic overtones. It’s a style exemplified through the Toronto quartet’s latest full-length, Monsoon Season, out now via New Damage Records.

Regarding the inspiration behind “All Justice No Peace,” Nick Sewell (vocals/bass) shared the following, “More than anything, it’s a song about juxtaposition. We wanted to contrast spacey, syncopated verses with bombastic, sloppy choruses. Hand in hand with that, the lyrics move between the thoughts of a condemned man pacing a small cell and a ravenous crowd, eager for a public execution. It’s about how dread and delight are frequently two sides of the same coin.”
The band has built a name for itself with their electrifying instrumental execution and 70’s amp stack worship. With a self-released EP and a roaring live show, Biblical became a strong performer on bills with such notable bands as Kyuss Lives, Red Fang, Fucked Up, The Sword, Torche, Wooden Shjips, Death From Above 1979, and many others. Since its release, Monsoon Season has gained strong support from tastemakers like Exclaim!, Now Magazine, Pitchfork, Metal Sucks, Brooklyn Vegan, Decibel Magazine, and many others.
