BIFFY CYRO To Start Work On New Album
– Scotland’s finest also confirm Australian Tour with MUSE
BIFFY CYRO revealed that they are all set to begin work on the follow-up to the enormously successful ‘Only Revolutions’, they have also confirmed that apart from supporting Muse at Wembley Stadium on the 11th September, they are now set to continue their support slot to Muse, with an Australian Tour planned and booked for this December.
Speaking to The Daily Record newspaper, bassist James Johnston revealed, “When we get some time at home over Christmas, we will start concentrating on the new songs. We are eager, we are excited but we understand you only get one chance to make a record and we don’t want to mess it up. We won’t rush it then forever regret it.”
He added that the incredible success of ‘Only Revolutions’ meant that there were high expectations for the next album. “I think there is pressure on us… but we will truly find out when we sit down to write and record. I am hoping, because we are still up in Scotland and out of the eyes of the industry in a way, we can be ourselves and do things the way we want to do them.”
