It’s been an incredibly successful year for The Big Moon, and they’re very excited to cap it with Happy New Year, another standout in an album of standouts. The video was filmed in Bush Hall, Shepherd’s Bush and directed by India Lee.
Happy New Year has been a longstanding, vital part of the band’s momentus live show that has taken them right across the globe and back again throughout 2017.
Speaking of the video, Jules said: “What better way to celebrate the insane year we have had than to finally realise our dreams of doing a dance routine video with miniature versions of ourselves?
This song is for anyone who’s ever woken up on New Year’s Day with no idea what happened.”
Love In The 4th Dimension, released back in April has rightfully found itself nestled neatly in the End of Year lists, including the likes of The Sunday Times, Rough Trade, NME, DIY, DORK and Drowned In Sound.
The band also recently recorded a fully acoustic EP, including versions of their breakthrough singles Cupid and Pull The Other One. You can listen to the full acoustic EP, here: https://thebigmoon.lnk.to/TBMACEP
