Bis Set April Release Date For ‘New Transistor Heroes’

Scottish novelty pop  rockers, Bis release their debut album on the 7th April 1996

Tilted ‘The New Transistor Heroes’ boasts a healthy 16 track listing which includes latest single ‘Sweet Shop Avengerz’. The album is an energetic romp through punk, 1980s synth pop and beyond, to the trio’s credit they do not fill the new album with previous single releases (no ‘Kandy Pop’ here), but instead plump of a healthier mix of  fun tunes and natty lyrics, “Can I not be normal cuz I’m not a size 10 / Play music , be in films or even show my face.” Even  the sleeve work is vibrant.

With Keneckie doing so well =, it’s time for Bis to take the alternative indie scene up another notch or two and together they good boot Shampoo out for good. Bis complete March  US dates ahead of a proposed UK Tour is being firmed up. On the strength of ‘The New Transistor Heroes’  punters will eagerly awaiting thier return to more familiar shores.
