BLACK PEAKS set to release brand new single

‘Glass Built Castles’ April 6th

– London debut headline single release show at the London Barfly on April 8th

– Festivals confirmed and announced for 2015 so far include Takedown, HRH Prog, Live At Leeds with many more to be confirmed in the coming months

Brighton based 4 piece BLACK PEAKS can today announce a brand new single, ‘Glass Built Castles’ which will be released (digital only) on April 6th. The band also have a debut London headline show on the day of release, April 8th, at The Barfly. Ticket Link:

‘Glass Built Castles’ is taken from the forthcoming debut album (set for a post summer 2015 release), and the track was given its debut airing on Dan Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show on Sunday 25th as Rockest Record, and then the next day on both Fearne Cotton’s breakfast show AND Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 Show as The Hottest Record.

Singer Will explains a bit more about the track: “Glass Built Castles is the third part of a four part , four track story on Black Peaks debut album (release date and title TBC). The song deals with a fictitious individuals thirst for revenge and the consequences of his actions viewed by an outsider”

The band have been incredibly busy the last 12 months. Releasing their debut EP ‘Closer To The Sun in April 2014, a winter 2014 UK tour supporting Arcane Roots, supporting the likes of Deafheaven, Pelican, Jamie Lenman, playing their first major festival (Sonisphere summer 2014) AND writing and recording their debut full length album.
