BlankTV premieres The Story Changes’ new music video

BlankTV’s has recently premiered  a scrabble based lyric video from punk/alt rock artist The Story Changes and their new album Static And Trembling. The intuitive video displays a new light to lyric videos and the content that surrounds them with ‘We Were Numb’. (Streaming below)

“The lyric video for ‘We Were Numb’ was such an interesting project to take on, as we wanted to make it engaging and derive from the content in the song. Using the Scrabble board, conveyed the lyrical movement we thought our fans would really enjoy, while also taking on a pretty time consuming stop motion effect that was very much worth the effort put into this project. As well, adding in the theme of pill and drug usage into segments through out the lyric video was crucial and really touched on the story behind the song. The old worn footage from pill factories related very well to the whole concept and sound of our new album, Static and Trembling, which comes from a very nostalgic mindset.”
