Blaqbonez announces forth album alongside new single/video

Wanted to share a new single/video called ‘Everlasting Taker‘ from Nigerian genre-bending rapper and singer Blaqbonez which dropped today alongside the announcement of his forthcoming fourth studio album, ‘No Excuses’, coming soon.

‘Everlasting Taker’ is a reflective, rap track that highlights Blaqbonez’s trademark blend of sharp lyricism and genre-fluid production. The song serves as a clear statement of intent, a reminder that his presence in the music scene is built on consistency and long-term vision. Lyrically, Blaqbonez gets personal, touching on financial challenges, moments of doubt, and the perseverance that has fueled his journey. References to sapa and Balenciaga provide a witty contrast between past struggles and present ambition, while lines like “this no be quick fame, this is a career” underline his commitment to staying true to his path.

The single arrives ahead of ‘No Excuses’, an album Blaqbonez describes as his most focused and creatively ambitious project yet. He has been on a run this year, with recent singles ‘W for Wetego’ (feat. Young Jonn & Phyno), ‘Follow Her’ (with Kizz Daniel), and most recently ‘Go Crazy’ setting the stage for what’s to come. Earlier this year, he also spent time in London, and was in the studio with the likes of JAE5, Pa Salieu and Leostaytrill which has created a buzz about what’s coming next on this album.
