Bloc Party today announce they will play their seminal debut album Silent Alarm live and in full at four huge shows across the UK this summer, including three outdoor shows in Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow, alongside a date in Brighton. It will be the first time they have performed in the UK since a one-off show at London’s Alexandra Palace – which sold out in minutes – in October last year.
That show, alongside a handful of others on their acclaimed European tour, was recorded for a special live edition of Silent Alarm, which will be released on 12th April on 12-inch, CD, digital download and special edition bundles.
Tickets for the new shows will go on sale on Friday 25th January from 9am (Glasgow) and 9.30am (Brighton and Manchester). Bristol tickets will be available from 9am on Thursday 31st January.

Silent Alarm was released in 2005 to widespread critical and commercial success, achieving multi-platinum sales and earning Bloc Party a Mercury Prize nomination.
