While we’re waiting for the new output from Blue Foundation, we can enjoy this rare live recording of the band. ‘Punk Rock’ is a part of a 4 track live EP the band will release June 15th on their own output Dead People’s Choice Records. The song describes Blue Foundation’s brainchild Tobias Wilner‘s attending a concert with a friend’s band in Copenhagen. “I went to see you play a gig in May. Your band was great and so where you and we screamed louder, louder, louder” sings Wilner on top of a drony sound created and played by the free jazz drummer Federico Ughi, Bo Rande, and Sonya Kitchell. The beautiful footage in the video is shot from one of the concerts on their latest Asian tour.

‘Punk Rock’ will appear on the next album from the band and will feature guest vocals by Erika Spring of Au Revoir Simone.
