Having taken victory claiming the ‘Best Major Festival’ in the UK, it comes as no surprise that activities and family experiences are in abundance during Latitude’s July weekend. And the best part? Children under 12 go for £15, and children under 5 go free.
With an extensive programme split across three different areas curated especially for families, there’s always something for adults and curious young minds alike to explore. And best of all, all our activities including materials are complementary.
Learn all about Latitude’s ever-evolving areas and find out everything that’s on offer…
Curated with love and imagination, the Kids’ Area features some of the most creative, wild and adventurous activities from around and throughout the county. There’s something here for every kind of curious mind. Previously, we’ve let youngsters explore the history surrounding real Roman artefacts from archaeological digs in London, to comic fans getting a hands-on experience from experts. The only limits to the Kids’ Area is your imagination, no matter how big or small you are.
The Enchanted Garden in the Family Campsite will once again feature activities including screen printing for 9-12 years, interactive author and illustrator events, the Canopy Stage with its lively family socials, dance classes and live music. The Circus Tent in this area has workshops, skills sessions and performances, giant bubbles and so much more!
Eight years ago, as the Kids’ Area continued to grow, we created a separate area for older children and teens. Still buzzing with new activities added every year, The Inbetweeners’ Area is somewhere for teens over 12 years to expand their skills and explore their talents with a varied programme across music, technology, fashion and digital media. There’s a live music stage deep in the woods, and zip-wires and climbing nets suspended in the trees!
