BRANDT BRAUER FRICK – NEW VIDEO FEATURING OM’MAS KEITH

Taken from Brandt Brauer Frick’s new LP ‘Miami’ (11th March, !K7), ‘Plastic Like Your Mother’ is a dark-hearted, ever-changing mini opus featuring a melancholy performance from Om’Mas Keith (Grammy winning producer of Frank Ocean’s ‘Channel Orange’ album, plus Kanye West, Jay Z et al). The video is startling: 28 dancers, each with a camera on their head, throwing shapes around the band in the middle. Om’Mas Keith is dominant (and looks like a badass) as he delivers his breathy croon, stock still at the mic while the dancers provide disorientating and evolving perspectives of the performance from their own POV.

“A performance clip, as only Brandt Brauer Frick can do it.“ – FACT
“An amazing video” – The Guardian

The video was directed by Daniel Brandt and hints at the control, precision and ingenuity of BBF’s new stripped down live show. No ensemble this time, just the three protagonists with Om’Mas Keith as a fourth member incorporating his distinct vocal throughout as well as playing vintage synths. The band will perform within a specially built stage set and the visuals will be created by Brandt Brauer Frick affiliated production company Park Bennett, who make all of the bands videos and also came up with the overall visual concept for the album inspired by Fluxus art of the ’60s
