Having formed over the Summer of 2013, Brawlers feature current and ex-members of bands as diverse as Dinosaur Pile-Up, Leftover Crack, Castrovalva and Martyr Defiled.

With only a handful of gigs under their belt, including supports for No Age, The Icarus Line, Gnarwolves and more, the band’s reputation for raucous live shows has already gained them a loyal following and much media support.

Comments frontman Harry George Johns:

“Brawlers was an itch we all felt we had to scratch. We wanted to do something fresh, sing about how stupid/rad stuff is on the internet (check the song “Instagram Famous”) and be a bit dangerous.”

Written about the self-obsessed state of current youth, “Instagram Famous” is currently featured on Rock Sound magazine’s January cover mount.

“Listen to this song when deciding if your fish and chips are worth posting all over the internet” – Rock Sound

Brawlers play a free show in London at the Old Blue Last on Thursday, January 9th.
