Kicking Off National Summer Tour
“Sprightly percussion and Asraf’s crooning vocals bring the track to life; it’s a catchy yet chill indie-pop cut. The fact that only two guys are behind this wealth of sound is pretty incredible.” Noisey
“Whether you’ve experienced an intense, all-consuming love affair yourself, or fulfill your romantic needs vicariously via film, indie duo Brick + Mortar’s new video will have you reliving your most intense, amorous memories” NYLON

John Tacon and Brandon Asraf have truly been building a movement. Spreading a message of empathy, positivity, and self-motivation. The two have been playing gritty, bright yet sinister, witty alternative pop for inspired audiences throughout the country, and they will continue to do so as they embark on their summer long national tour happening now! Brick + Mortar are also thrilled to debut their highly anticipated “Dropped EP” today. Check out it on Culture Collide.

As if that wasn’t enough, the duo has a brand new video to accompany their track “Staying Gold” which premiered today on Noisey. The video is a beautiful depiction of a teen who, in the midst of exceptionally hard conditions, manages to stay as strong as ever when surrounded by friends. Moving through shots in soft focus and light we see a sick kid quite literally transform into who he once was before hospitals, doctors, and beeping machines. Director Rosco with BLURRED Pictures says “to us, Staying Gold is a rebellious anthem from an angsty kid making a statement that he’s good, no matter what. We follow him in this film, who despite his incredibly difficult circumstances is strong as ever when he’s with his friends. He stays gold.”
