Jul 10, 2026 – Tonight, Pitbull set the record for the highest recorded attendance for a BST Hyde Park show, with 69,999 fans.
The American superstar also set the Guinness World Records for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps – with an official verified count of 22,141 people at 5:00pm – recorded for history at American Express presents BST Hyde Park.
The record-breaking moment took place at a sold-out American Express presents BST Hyde Park – with BBC Radio 1’s Greg James leading the count, and Guinness World Records Adjudicator, Will Munford, presenting Pitbull with the title.
Presenting Pitbull with his framed certificate, Munford announced: “Earlier today, your fans attempted the official Guiness World Record title for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps… And I can confirm, you achieved 22,141 – congratulations!”
Pitbull’s achievement was celebrated both in Hyde Park and across the world via YouTube live stream and a Bald E Watch Party. The Miami born rapper, also known as Mr Worldwide, Mr 305 and Armando Christian Pérez could not contain his excitement at the achievement as he was presented with the title just before going on stage.
“This is history in the making,” Pitbull commented as he received the honour. “Thank you London, thank you to the fans, thank you Hyde Park, thank you Baldies.
“Who would have ever thought a first-generation Cuban would ever be in London, record-breaking and record-making for the… Guinness Book of World Records [sic]…”
Headlining tonight’s sold out BST Hyde Park show, Pitbull took time out of his 27-date I’m Back tour to hit this extraordinary record. The global superstar wasted no time in getting the celebration started – playing 20 of his biggest hits for the 69,999-strong audience.
Kicking off the show with Don’t Stop The Party, “Mr Worldwide” rolled out his impressive catalogue of tracks such as Hotel Room Service, International Love and I Feel Good. and some of his top collaborations, including Feel This Moment and Booty. In between, he threw in the odd motivational speech, giving a high-energy performance that only Pitbull could pull off.
“I’m just taking it all in,” an emotional Pitbull told the audience, as he first hit the stage. “It’s hard for me to say I’m speechless. But all I can think of right now is what my family went through in order for me to be able to be someone free.
“An immigrant family out of Cuba. To be able to pursue my dream and be on the stage like this, represent with all the baldies around the world. This is priceless. There’s no way I can say thank you. There is no words I can say what I feel right now.”
“And it goes to show you if you believe it, you dream it, you can achieve it. We want to say, ‘thank you’. You know why, Baldies? ’Cause we motherfucking did it! So not only are we here to congratulate, we’re here to celebrate.”
Two crowd-igniting medleys featuring Move Shake Drop/Culo/Calle 8 and On The Floor/Hey Baby/DJs Got Us drove the audience wild. And there were more surprises to come…
The show came to an end two hours later with a mammoth finale – and two special guests. First, Lil Jon arrived on stage to perform Gasolina, Jumpin’ and Damn I Love Miami, with Kesha joining for Timber. Time Of Our Lives made the crowd roar – before Fireball (featuring Los Tucanes De Tijuana) detonated across Hyde Park.
“Music unites, it doesn’t divide,” he shared. “Music brings us together… That’s the most powerful thing it teaches us… [and] when you look at it closely, there’s only one race. And that is the human race.
When you thought there couldn’t be any more surprises, Pitbull paid tribute to his English ‘Baldies’ via the Oasis song that has united the nation and the England football team. “Being here I thought, what was the best way to represent you all… And a good friend of mine said, I think you should do this record. So, let’s not just talk about it, let’s do it…”
Wonderwall was a poignant nod to the Three Lions who face the World Cup quarter final on Saturday night. And finally came Give Me Everything — providing a completely bombastic, firework-laden finish to the night.

Supporting Pitbull tonight were some of the best in noughties music. Kesha brought her cool grit to the stage with the soundtrack to the noughties, such as TikTok, Only Love Can Save Us Now and Sleazy.
“London, are you ready to f*** shit up?” she asked fans. “I have not played Hyde Park in 15 years. Many of these next songs, I’ve not sang them in 13 years and I want you to know I’ve taken all the original production out and I’ve reproduced them for us tonight.”
Continuing to share her story with fans, Kesha explained: “London, have I mentioned I’m a free woman? And as an independent artist, it means everything to me to be playing one of the biggest festivals in London.”
The Los Angeles star could not hide her joy at performing to a sea of bald caps that had just won Pitbull a Guinness World Record. “Do you know how psychotic it is to see an ocean of my friend Pitbull? It’s psychotic,” she laughed, launching into Joyride.
Before Praying, the 39-year-old singer took a moment to thoughtfully address the crowd: “When I was in high school, I dreamed I could make a safe space for people like me. So they could feel safe and loved just as they are. So, I hope you feel so safe and so loved here – just as you are.”
Pass Out, Written In The Stars, Miami 2 Ibiza — Tinie Tempah’s BST Hyde Park performance gave banger after banger. The rapper, who has recently returned to the music scene after taking time out to be more present for his young children, joined the string of noughties artists performing to an audience of bald cap-wearing music lovers. “There are a lot of bald caps out there,” he joked. “But if there are any Tinie Tempah fans out there, make some noise!”
Lil Jon’s stage energy reverberated through the crowd, as the 51-year-old bounced his way through what he described as his “dream DJ playlist”. Starting with We Will Rock You, Let’s Go and Mo Bamba, this was a setlist packed with some of the most iconic hip-hop tunes out there. Crank That, Hollaback Girl and Yeah were highlights – as was the cover of classic Sweet Caroline, which ignited the crowd.
With a mesmerising backdrop of toucans and colour, Los Tucanes De Tijuanaopened the Great Oak Stage today with a string of songs that got the audience up and dancing early on. The Mexican norteño band, led by Mario Quintero Lara, have been performing since 1987 and were quick to tell London how thrilled they were to be here. “Thanks a lot, gracias everybody,” said Lara, in between tracks Espejeando, La Chica Sexy and Jugo A La Vida.

Over on the Rainbow Stage presented by British Airways, Clapham singer and drag queen Tia Kofi helped get the party started ahead of the record breaking night. Best known for winning the second series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, the star was delighted to be performing to an audience alongside Pitbull, Kesha and Tinie Tempah. “Are we enjoying it?” they asked a cheering crowd. “Should we keep the party going?”
Brighton based singer Mae Hill, who has been compared to Becky Hill and even Christina Aguilera impressed in the mid-afternoon with her singles, The Devil I Know, Jokes On You and Love Rehab.
Birmingham born singer and MC, Sanity, is known for her wild story of performing to a billion people at the Commonwealth Games, before returning to her day job at Ikea. Her tracks Babylon and Late night went down a storm in the sunshine.
Over on Birdcage, Pitbull’s Globalization DJs played electric sets to fans who were there to hear DJs from Miami and around the world. Dancehall and Afrobeats guru, DJ DUBL, entertained with stylish sounds that he’s played from Jamaica to New Zealand. Pro-Pitbull warm-up artist, Euan Lawrence, showcased close to 25 tracks in his 30-minute set and DJ Jonezy kicked things off early with his unmissable hip-hop beats.
