Bullion – ‘We Had A Good Time’
Nathan Jenkins shares the title-track from upcoming EP, We Had A Good Time, out 28th February on DEEK Recordings. It follows previous single, Hula; breezy, nostalgic pop underpinned by choral synths and a pseudo-bossa rhythm. Co-written with Diego Herrera (Suzanne Kraft), We Had A Good Time was recorded during a dizzy spring in Lisbon, under the shadow of a hallucinogenic Datura tree in the garden of Nathan’s home studio. The EP is his latest output since curating 4 Down, a covers compilation in an ongoing series that’s become a calling card for Nathan’s collaborations.
Elsewhere in the world of DEEK, the evolving Pop-not-slop playlist “rigorously defines the jaunty aesthetic Jenkins explores with his own productions.” (RA) Previous solo efforts include LCD Anna for Whities and Blue Pedro, released via The Trilogy Tapes. The latter made it into Crack Mag`s Top 100 Tracks Of The Decade.
We Had A Good Time is out now with the EP to follow on the 28th of February on DEEK Recordings.
