This seven track EP contains the kind of sun hazed electronic pop that it turns your thoughts back to the start of the British Summer where yet again the anticipation for a long hot summer ended up being pretty futile. This Sydney/Melbourne act have made an EP so sunny, optimistic and uplifting that it could only have been made in a Country that has proper Summers. ‘Dreams’ featuring the yearning vocals of Wolf and Cub’s Joel Byrne and is as near to an Empire of The Sun track you can get without it being by them.

The Sleazy 80s sounding ‘Endless Summer’ and ‘Past midnight’ are the kind of filtered indie pop Alan Palomo was making as Vega before he became the much cooler Neon Indian whereas ‘Make you feel’ takes the 80’s r n b pop a little too far by sounding like Friendly Fires covering Five Star, that aside, a strong EP. 8/10
