(London UK – Monday March 18)City and Colour, the moniker of singer-songwriter Dallas Green and undeniably one of the biggest groundswell stories in Canadian music, has just announced a headline show at London’s Bush Hall on Wednesday 5th June. This very special show follows sold out shows at Royal Albert Hall and 2011’s two night run at London’s Roundhouse.
With 3 JUNOs under his belt — including two SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR awards (2009, 2012), and 3 Platinum-selling albums,Green is gearing up to release his 4th City and Colour studio album this summer (Cooking Vinyl / Dine Alone Records). A new song from the upcoming release titled “of space and time” is now available for streaming below.
City and Colour’s previous LP Little Helldebuted at#1 on the Top 200 SoundScan Chart in Canada, #2 in Australia, and #28 in the U.S.
City and Colour’s last Canadian tour sold out in minutes, and came on the heels of an international run with sold-out shows across the US, UK and Europe. After his appearance at SXSW, City and Colour heads to the U.S. where Green was invited by P!NK to open 3 arena dates on her upcoming U.S. tour, before heading to perform as direct support for Biffy Clyro’s extensive UK run.
