“In one fell swoop, Claire will become your new favourite band.” The 405
Claire are pleased to announce their new single End Up Here, released 20th January 2017. This is the first single to be taken from Tides, their recently announced studio LP. This new record follows up their 2014 debut offering The Great Escape which featured their atmospheric Games and Broken Promise Land.
End Up Here is an epic ode to a failing relationship which lead singer Josie sings with strength and conviction: “I don’t want to fight about it, I don’t want to fight no more”. The single feels older, stronger but at the sametime showcases the depth of emotion to Claire’s songwriting.
Claire are a five-piece band originating from Munich. A healthy adolescence in the underground gave Claire the necessary traction to clearly distinguish themselves from slick, plastic pop acts; early into their career they toured with the likes of Chvrches, Capital Cities and Bastille and have now graduated to headline their own Claire tours.
