Close To Home Records has been releasing some of the UK’s best and brightest records over the last half decade. The label hasn’t slowed down or stuck to it’s own comforts either, CTH has released records from pop-punk 7″‘s through to dream-gaze 12″‘s. To celebrate the label evolving their website into a more DIY artists collective space they’ve made a free compilation featuring some of the best of their releases. Leatherneck are an alternative four-piece band from Cheshire. They are known for blending elements of shoe-gaze, 90s alternative and grunge together to form their own unique take on the alternative genre. After previously releasing a single through FITA Records (Moose Blood, The Winter Passing), Leatherneck teamed up with Close to Home to bring you their debut EP Lighting Up The Tilt Sign. Between coverage in Rock Sound Magazine and airtime on BBC’s Radio 1 Rock Show, it has become apparent that their spin on the dreary modern alternative genre is one you might want to check out.
‘Coma’ is the latest single taken from Leatherneck’s debut, previously released on Close To Home. The video’s a real ride and perfectly accompanies the dreamy side to Leatherneck’s take on alternative rock music. Please watch and share the video below.
