“…thousands of people, arms outstretched, grabbing for their own little piece of heaven…. Enough sonic rocket fuel that half of them escape gravity.” Chicago Tribune

“the energy seems to explode, with the entire room jumping three feet off the ground, hands waving wildly in the air.” The Line of Best Fit

“a kinetic sea of jumping fanboys/gurls who belt out every lyric to lung capacity bursting point as Whitford flings his body about onstage, reaching his gangly arms to the sky and giving every track like it’s his last.” The 405

As the first leg of Cut Copy’s globe-spanning ‘Free Your Mind’ tour winds down, with ecstatic sweaty crowds from Berlin to El Paso inspiring the band to new heights, they are pleased to announce the second round of global headline dates, spanning North and South America and Europe throughout March and April 2014.

These shows will be preceded by a run of festivals in Australia, with Future Music shows in all capital cities, and a special extended late-night appearance at Golden Plains. Full details of all the shows, including a big London show at The Forum on the 16th April, are below. Pre-sales commence on Tuesday at cutcopy.net, with general public on-sales starting Friday 13th December at 9am.

To celebrate, Cut Copy is please to share an hour-long, late-night smoker’s delight DJ mix that they did recently for Nina Las Vegas’ Mix-up show on Triple J. Combining house classics, African rhythms and upfront deepness, it’s the perfect soundtrack for a journey in the dark.
