DAIISTAR announces new UK tour dates

Austin, TX noise-pop upstarts DAIISTAR have announced a new batch of UK tour dates in August and September.  They also have a handful of North American dates coming up in late summer and fall, including their first appearance at Austin City Limits Fest.

The band’s most recent release is a Sonic Boom remix of their track “Velvet Reality,” lifted from a new 7” released May 10th on Fuzz Club that also features their recently released single “Clear” on the A-side. Listen here: daiistar.lnk.to/velvetremix

“Clear” and this accompanying remix arrive off the back of DAIISTAR’s highly-praised 2023 debut album Good Time, an 80s/90s-indebted blend of narcotic noise and melody produced by Alex Maas of The Black Angels and engineered by White Denim’s James Petralli. The studio version of “Velvet Reality” originally closed out the Good Time LP in a dreamy, washed-out haze and is here deconstructed even further by Spacemen 3 co-founder Pete Kember aka Sonic Boom.
