Announce details of the release of new single & UK tour.

Former Zutons frontman Dave McCabe has announced details of the release of a new single from the forthcoming debut album from his new project, Dave McCabe & The Ramifications.

Recorded as part of the album sessions at Ape Studios on The Wirral in the second half of 2014, Church Of Miami is released digitally on 1965 Records on Friday September 4th 2015. The album, of the same name, is released the same day.

The video for the single was again directed by Scott Jones, who also art-directed the artwork for the album. Inspired by the track’s dystopian vision of a city enshrined in cosmetic surgery and fake tans, the clip follows McCabe’s odyssey to destroy said city in order to save every one of us!

Church Of Miami follows the release of previous single Too Damn Good / Time & Place and was recorded with producers Viktor Voltage and Mr Chop utilising their array of analogue and digital equipment. Like the rest of his album, the single reflects Dave’s tastes with its Moroder and Prince-esque flourishes, while lyrically exploring themes of technology and de-humanization.
