Dead Sons – Hangman
Taken from their debut album ‘The Hollers and The Hymns’ the new single ‘Hangman’ by Dead Sons will be released 5th November via Dead Young Records. Formed back in 2010 the band hit the stage running and have played in every possible venue imaginable including festivals, stadiums, cellars, and vintage shops. Yep, if you can fit a band into it these guys will play it.
The first thing you notice is the deep bass line which the guitar slithers and slides over while the drums rumble along in the background. The vocals blend perfectly with the instruments neither dominating nor being overpowered by them. A very tightly made single which is an understated return to the classic grunge sounds of the 1990’s. 8/10
