Debut Single ‘Demo, released as a limited 7” Vinyl and Download via Lucky Number on August 4th
“Deers are mischievous, volatile, deliberately ramshackle and a breath of fresh air” NME
“a don’t-give-a-shit, rambling contender for 2014’s most off-the-cuff surprise success.” DIY
Lucky Number is delighted to present Deers’ self-directed video for ‘Trippy Gum’, the flip side to ‘Bamboo’ from their debut AA-side single, ‘Demo’ which is physically available in-store from today.
One fairly average Madrid afternoon in March, pals Ana Garcia Perrote and Carlotta Cosials disappeared into their rehearsal studio and stepped out clutching two of the most perfectly ramshackle pop songs you will ever hear: ‘Bamboo’, described by Q magazine as a ‘contender for catchiest track of the year’ and, here, the wonderfully psych edged ‘Trippy Gum’.

Just two months after recording the single, bass player Ade Martin and drummer Amber Grimbergen joined Ana and Carlotta for a debut sold-out London appearance at Sebright Arms.
They are returning to the UK to play Corsica Studios, London, on September 2nd and Bleach, Brighton, on September 3rd.
