After sell-out crowds with some of the hottest global stars, DJ Semtex switches his focus a little closer to home and introduces the Arrival of 4 of the hottest UK based acts who are about to carry the baton for the UK scene, globally. Bringing this blazing hip-hop show to The Garage, London on Wednesday 17th December expect to hear some of the freshest new music alongside the master himself, DJ Semtex.
A member of London’s Last Night In Paris collective, Danny Seth has already marked his stamp on the hip-hop scene and his beats have been championed by the likes of Tyga, Pharrell and Kanye West. Having worked with rapper G-Easy on a track alongside A$AP Ferg he offers something fresh and unique. Currently preparing to drop his debut mixtape, entitled Perception the rapper has unveiled his latest release The Kings Speech.
Following his recent sell out headline show at Birthdays in London this year Loyle Carner has gone on to support underground American hip-hop legends Atmosphere on the UK leg of their tour. Announcing the long awaited release of his debut EP A Little Late his ability to write is second to none and the record demonstrates a variety of influences and styles, employing sounds of jazz, blues and soul.
Hip-hop musician Jay Prince hails from east London, his style has been described as a chilled and mellow nostalgic vibe, bringing a combination of complex poetic lyrics and flow to his music. With the release of his latest collaborative track Feel It with producer IAMNOBODI, this is the second song off Prince’s upcoming BeFor Our Time EP. Front man of London hip-hop group Nihilismus, Benny Mails brings his soulful sounds into the bill. The British newcomer is quickly proving himself as one of the brightest new voices in hip-hop and is one to watch this year.
