DROPKICK MURPHYS return for European shows plus Live At Fenway Edition CD

As previously revealed, Dropkick Murphys are about to embark on their Summer 2012 tour with over 20 European shows including the Download Festival on June 10th.

A deluxe edition of the group’s critically acclaimed Going Out In Style album is now available. The package includes a companion release–Live From Fenway–recorded on September 8 and 9 in front of 20,000 Dropkick Murphys fans at the band’s sold out headlining dates at Boston’s legendary ballpark. The package also includes a download for the entire concert video.

Now in their 15th year, Dropkick Murphys have amassed a Scorsese soundtrack smash, a US top 10 album, a lifetime membership to every Boston sports team and a sound owing as much to Springsteen and The Pogues as to the Clash.

“A stroke of genius … More punk, more folk, more traditional, more modern, and Al Barr and co. sound nothing short of immense,"

Big Cheese *****

“Blazing bagpipes, guitars and terrace-bothering Celtic anthems, you simply cannot beat a slug o’ the Murphys!”
