San Francisco, Nov. 6, 2015 – Dubioza Kolektiv, arguably the biggest international band Americans have never heard of, release their new album Happy Machine via Faith No More founder Bill Gould’s Koolarrow Records on Feb. 5, 2016.

The seven-piece band, who regularly fill arenas throughout Eastern Europe, premiered a slightly NSFW video this morning for the song “Free.mp3 (The Pirate Bay Song)”:https://youtu.be/EuQLMXyGQOE.  The clip, which was directed by Salem Kapić Kantardžić and features feature film worthy effects, includes “guest” appearances from President Obama, Kim Kardashian, Jon Snow and many others.

“We admire enthusiasts like people from Wikileaks, The Pirate Bay, people like Edward Snowden,” said the Kolektiv. “People who are fighting governments and big corporations, not for profit but because they believe in these ideas, even at the price of their own personal freedoms. It is always inspiring to see people who are finding the way to outsmart the system.”

“It seems that despite a world of global digital media and information there is one official voice that tends to drown out the others,” explained Koolarrow Records’ Bill Gould. “What I love about Dubioza, especially in this track, is that they are expressing a very popular view, that gets almost zero attention. Discussion can only happen when all parties are allowed to speak.”

Dubioza Kolektiv have long been ardent advocates of free speech and internet privacy, wrote and recorded Happy Machine over the past two years, with inspiration coming from Istanbul’s Gezi park protests (“All Equal”), Europe’s mishandling of the Syrian refugee crisis and the jailing of the founders of The Pirate Bay (“Free.mp3″). Guests on the eleven-song album include Manu Chao, Benji Webbe (Skindred), Italian trumpet player and singer Roy Paci, Punjabi singer BEE2, Catalan ska-rumba band La Pegatine and Macedonian trumpet player Dzambo Agusev.
