‘Sophisticated, but also damned groovy’ 8/10 UNCUT
‘Crystalline pop. Dutch Uncles graduate to the top of the class’ 8/10 NME
Dutch Uncles are all set to release brand new single ‘Nometo’ on 12th August 2013. It’s a highlight from their brilliant and well received recent album Out of Touch in the Wild.
‘Nometo’ was, according to lead singer Duncan Wallis, written in Berlin and bizarrely inspired by “the thought of all the Leonard Cohen songs I’ve never heard. Imagining his voice, of an old man returning to an old habit one last time, and the bitterness and regret he laments under his hat.”
