Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros today announce a major European tour for early 2014, beginning in Brussels on 27 January and culminating in their biggest UK show to date at London’s Brixton Academy on 11 February. The band – fresh from curating their own four day Big Top festival in the Los Angeles State Historic Park – will be returning to these shores for the first time since a run of summer shows that took in a UK tour, including a sold out show at London’s Somerset House, and appearances with Mumford & Sons at their Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park show in London and Gentlemen of the Road stopover in Lewes.

Mixing soulfulness, raw exuberant pop and psychedelia, ‘Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros’ shows a band constantly evolving and hopeful for the future. Produced by frontman Alex Elbert, its twelve tracks are upbeat, boisterous and passionate, with gospel harmonies, raw vocals, and deep-in-the-pocket rhythms.
