New Album Altid Sammen Out Now

In August 2010, French filmmaker Vincent Moon met with Efterklang’s 8-piece live band on an island off the Danish coastline. Over four days, they collaborated with more than 200 local musicians, children and their own parents, creating unique performances and interpretations of songs from their album, Magic Chairs.
The resulting 50-minute film premiered on 31 January 2011. For its original release, Moon and Efterklang devised Private-Public Screenings, a unique distribution method offering people the opportunity to host free entry public screenings of An Island. Between February and March 2011 it was viewed by over 50,000 through 1,200 Screenings.
Tonight, at 8pm BST, Efterklang are offering fans the opportunity to watch the film and chat live with band members and other viewers from the comfort of their homes. To watch, go here or click on the player below.
