EKKO PARK LONDON GIG ANNOUNCED
New Zealand Rock Band EKKO PARK will visit London for the first time in October 2014.
The 4 piece Auckland based rock band are best described as “a ship captained by an Irishman and crewed by 3 Kiwis.” Singer Joe Walsh, an Irishman, travelled the globe playing music before sterling in NZ where he teamed up with 3 kiwi fellas. A collaboration of diverse backgrounds which formed a unique and explosive offering in the NZ music landscape.

The tour also stops at Voodoo, Belfast on Friday September 26th & Dublin at The Grand Social on Saturday September 27th. This will be Ekko Park’s first ever show in London, Singer Joe Walsh, “We are thrilled to be heading to the Barfly. Some of our favourite NZ Bands have played there and now it’s our chance to get Camden rocking!! What a way to end our first UK and Ireland Tour. It’s gonna be a party!!”

Ekko Park have recently enjoyed significant success at home with the release of their debut album Tomorrow Tomorrow Today in November 2013. This album, engineered and co-produced by Andrew Buckton (Crowded House, Midnight Youth, The D4, Clap Clap Riot), entered the Official NZ Album Chart at#15 and was the #5 NZ Album. Always A Fire, the final single off the album is currently dominating national rock station airwaves and they have recently concluded the New Zealand Science and Survival Tour where they opened for London basedI Am Giant.
