‘Mondo’ which possesses an almost old-fashioned love of melody as it switches genres with blatant disregard for simple categorisation. Add the production nous of Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, Gorillaz, The Black Keys) – contemporary ingenuity rooted within pop’s most essential and traditional attributes – and it’s clear why Electric Guest are so immediately enticing to such a wide audience.
