Eloise shares brand new single ‘Left Side’

Eloise – one of the UK’s most enchanting new voices – has shared her brand-new track ‘Left Side’. The track is the latest offering to come from her debut EP – ‘This Thing Called Living’ – which is due to be released on Harbour Music on the 30th May.

Arriving late in 2018 Eloise captured the hearts of many with her debut offering ‘You Dear’, and it’s equally brilliant and heart-breaking follow up ‘This Thing Called Living’. Her unique talent for beautifully delicate storytelling proved a very welcome breath of fresh air in the current musical landscape, and translated effortlessly from record to live performance as she played two sold out shows at Aces & Eights in London – both to pin-drop quiet crowds.

Eloise has now set a date for the release of her first EP, and with the news comes a brand-new track ‘Left Side’ which see’s us invited once again into the inner-workings of her heart. While ‘You, Dear’ dealt with the initial feeling of falling in love (all be it with the wrong person), and then ‘This Thing Called Loving’ delivered the crushing agony of that relationship coming to an end, ‘Left Side’ tells the story of what happens next – dealing with the space in your life a person once filled and how you move on.

For those yet unaware – Eloise is a Londoner, but she spent her formative years in rural Normandy before moving over to North London at 10. It was in their eccentric family farmhouse – just outside Caen – that Eloise’s music first began to come together as she started to teach herself piano, and later write songs inspired by her musical mother who played her endless classics from Carole King, Billy Joel and a whole lot of jazz. All the while she was devouring films like Calamity Jane, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Singing In The Rain.

Eloise debut EP – ‘This Thing Called Living’ – will be released on Harbour Music on May 30^th. To celebrate, she’ll play her next headline show in London at The Slaughtered Lamb the night before, 29^th May. The show is already sold out.
