End Of The Road announce Christmas party

As End Of The Road closed another festival season in spectacular style with its 2023 edition, the team behind it alongside friends Loud And Quiet are doing their best to beat the winter blues by throwing their annual festive bash. The End Of The Road 2023 Christmas Party will take place at London’s The Lexington, on 12 December. Get your tickets here.

Headlining the night will be unstoppable Leeds indie rockers English Teacher. With their debut album slated for release early next year after signing to Island Records, the quartet have been on a meteoric trajectory since 2022s acclaimed debut EP Polyawkward and their appearance at End Of The Road Festival 2022 on the Woods Stage. Known for their incendiary live show, as seen here playing their recent hit ‘The Worlds Biggest Paving Slab’ on Jools Holland, catching English Teacher on stage at The Lexington will be an intimate treat for a band destined for huge things.

Modern Woman will bring their eclectic mix of avant-garde art rock and spidery post punk, for a totally one off live experience. The arresting vocals of frontwoman Sophie Harris glide and soar before twisting and snaking through thickets of violins, percussion and blasting drums. Releasing their debut EP ‘Dogs Fighting In My Dreams’ via End Of The Road Records, the festival favourites are not ones to be missed.

Electronic indie experimentalist Tiberius b will open up the night. Having recently released their debut EP DIN via Mark Ronson’s Zelig Music, Tiberius b are proving to be a truly singular artist. Their music has garnered praise from the likes of Them, i-D and The FADER for pushing music in uncompromising directions and tackling difficult subjects around loss, queer intimacy and trans beauty.

Before carriages are called, the team from Loud & Quiet magazine will keep the vibes high with their legendary DJ set.

As King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s spectacular Sunday night set brought the brilliant 2023 edition of End Of The Road Festival to an end, the largest ever amount of early bird tickets have already sold out for 2024. With tier 2 tickets now on sale for the weekend of 29 August – 1 September 2024, the 18th instalment of End Of The Road Festival promises to be very special indeed.

Across the rest of the weekend of the 2023 edition there were dazzling headline sets from Future Islands, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Wilco on the Woods Stage. The always magical Garden Stage had performances from Angel Olsen, Arooj Aftab, Ezra Furman, Mabe Fratti, Crack Cloud, Avalanche Kaito, Caroline and many, many more.
