KaZantip Republic
August 2012
Crimea, Ukraine

Of all of the “festivals” we work with, this one is often the most puzzling…maybe because “it’s not a festival” or perhaps because “Kazantip Republic doesn’t really exist” or does it…? Hell, it’s so secretive that even we don’t know what’s going on!  But what we can tell you is that whether it exists or not, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the 4 week long electronic music “party”, “project”, “event”, “extravaganza”(dare we say “festival”) on the beach in the Ukraine. Often drawing comparisons with Ibiza and Burning Man, you can expect to see incredible structures on the beach, the most colourful and adventurously dressed crowd of any festival we’ve seen and an energy to rival the worlds best parties. DJs love to play there and the crowd comes back for more year on year. The lineup for 2012 includes M.A.N.D.Y., James Zabiela, Booka Shade, Robert Babicz, Funk D’ Void, Paul Woolford,George Fitzgerald, Danny Howells, Serge Devant. Why not experience it for yourself this year? The magical gates to the kingdom open on August 4th and we’re pretty confident that the 20th anniversary is going to be nothing short of spectacular…
