She Makes War announces three “An Evening with” events + Bristol’s smallest preview gigs

Bristol based solo artist She Makes War has announced her final shows of 2016, rounding off another exciting year of touring with the likes of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Carina Round and Duke Special, playing a Marc Riley radio session and 10 festival slots around the country including 2000 Trees, Greenbelt, Larmer Tree and Beautiful Days (most of them with a broken foot caused by a stage accident), plus receiving radio support from 6 Music (Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson) and XFM for her latest album “Direction Of Travel”.

As well as opening each night with a solo set showcasing brand new material from her in-progress fourth album and headlining with a grungey three piece band set playing material from her back catalogue, Laura will host two unique afternoon events at a beautiful 10 capacity mini-cinema in central Bristol.

Keen to strip the experience of live music back to its essential elements, Laura will play completely unplugged, screen her latest handmade music videos and get to know the audience over the course of these 90 minute shows.

Tickets go on general sale on Monday at 10am, but mailing list subscribers will get first dibs and can sign up any time.
