Critical acclaim for “Take Care, Take Care, Take Care” , the fifth album from Explosions In The Sky, out now on Bella Union records.

“Beautifully realised mini-symphonies… awe-inspiring”

Q – 4****

“Explosions In The Sky are something of a phenomenon… cathartic, evocative, meditative… a band who have become a major prospect making challenging music.”

The Times – 4 Stars **** (CD of the Week)

“Explosions In The Sky have not only stuck faithfully to their roots, they’ve made the defining album of their career.”

NME – 8/10

“A stunning six track-er… Both quiet majesty and frenetic attack rendered masterfully.”

The Fly – 4 Stars ****

“possessing an elegance”e that few of their contemporaries could even dream of, this is yet another wonderful release from a quite brilliant band.”

Rock Sound – 9/10

“They make music on an epic scale, wild flights of rock fancy stretching towards distant horizons… Explosions In The Sky continue to occupy a lofty place in the music firmament”

The Sun – 4 Stars ****

“Captivatingly beautiful… Glorious.”

Clash – 8/10

“A perfect blend of the visceral and vaporous ”

The Evening Standard – 4****

“Spine-tingling”

Financial Times – 4 stars****

“The six mini-epics here lunge and swoon duly, but EITS marshal the force and grace needed to sustain cathartic clout. Sprawling over 10 minutes, ‘Let Me Back In’ is so lovely it could last twice its length without overdoing it. So could the album”

The Independent

“Suitably inspired and no less epic than might be expected, it maintains their knack for penning triumphant and beautifully slow-burning epics, though there are swathes of experimental textures and a noticeably refreshed approach to style and structure”

Rock-A-Rolla

“a post-rock masterpiece.”

The Line Of Best Fit

“Another splendid set of graceful and gripping instrumentals from the Texan quartet”

BBC.co.uk

“An essential addition to anyone’s list of 2011
