EZTV share "Pretty Torn Up" video

EZTV SHARE VIDEO FOR “PRETTY TORN UP” VIA THE FADER

DEBUT ALBUM CALLING OUT AVAILABLE NOW FROM CAPTURED TRACKS

EZTV is hitting the road again later this month in support of their fantastic debut album, Calling Out (out now on Captured Tracks). To mark the occasion, they’re sharing a new video for “Pretty Torn Up” via The FADER. The video was created in collaboration with New York’s Children’s Museum of the Arts.

Recorded by Jarvis Taveniere (Woods), EZTV’s Calling Out is a cohesive 12-song statement in the long tradition of fully realized debuts: stripped of artifice, but full of hooks and songwriting chops. The result is a sound that’s both familiar and new, but always about the songs.

“EZTV’s glitchy guitar-pop slides up the frets straight into your frontal lobe. Just try and get the melody for ‘Trampoline’ out of your head” – Noisey
“the finest blend of laid-back college rock and ’60s-reminiscent pop” – Stereogum
“It’s pretty much power pop catnip: sweet harmonies, chiming guitars, and rolling, inventive backbeats… damn does this sound good” – KUTX (“Song of the Day”)
“very very catchy powerpop that packs a lot of hooks… If you like the dB’s, Let’s Active or other bands who count Big Star as an influence, this is probably up your alley” – Brooklyn Vegan
