Having just signed to Gary Powell’s (The Libertines) label 25 Hour Convenience Store, False Heads pick up where they left off with their early infectious releases by releasing an absolute gem of a single, ‘Steal and Cheat’, out on December 4th 2015.
The East London trio of Luke Griffiths, Barney Nash and Jake Elliott, channel a delinquent, punk-driven assault that finds themselves caught somewhere between the early grunge of Foo Fighters and the snotty punk attitude of The Buzzcocks on their new release.
The band’s previous ‘Tunnel Vision’ and ‘Wear and Tear’ EP releases won the trio heavy support from the likes of BBC 6Music, BBC Introducing, NME, Q Magazine, Clash Magazine, Drowned In Sound and Artrocker. Now False Heads are ready to reintroduce themselves this December with a perfect riot of energetic, leering, bawdiness, all tied up in just under 3 raucous minutes. And one thing’s for sure, you’d better keep your eyes on these three over the next 12 months.
‘Steal and Cheat’
‘Steal and Cheat’ will be released through 25 Hour Convenience Store on December 4th 2015, available from all good digital stores. False Heads will follow up ‘Steal and Cheat’ with a brand new EP, as well as announcing touring plans, in early 2016.

‘Built around a gargantuan riff… a jangly masterpiece”
“While Pixies new material finds the band adjusting to their elder-statesmen status, Chichester quiet-loud rockers False Heads offer a reminder of Black Francis and co’s youthful imperiousness”
“False Heads might be new kids on the block. However, they’re already well versed when it comes to the art of songwriting”
Drowned in Sound
“Propulsive, energetic songwriting, those pastoral, deeply English melodies are matched against a raw sense of destruction. Check it out now”
