“Feminazi” video

FEA have announced they will release their self-titled debut album via Blackheart Records on July 15th. The album was produced by Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace, Alice Bag, and Babes in Toyland’s Lori Barbero. The group has shared the video for the album single “Feminazi” which is a statement on the current climate of politics, women’s rights, and bigotry. They debut the video just in time for Donald Trump’s visit to their hometown of San Antonio. The song was produced by Laura Jane Grace and is a celebratory punk anthem that proudly subverts its title with an infectious chant of “I’m a feminist!” in English, Spanish, German, French, and Japanese. Watch the video where it premiered on Spin and here.
FEA’s self-titled debut album will be available for pre-order beginning June 24th. The digital pre-order includes an instant-grat of “Feminazi” and will be available on iTunes, Amazon mp3, and Google Play. The physical preorder will be available at Amazon.com.
FEA is the continued ferocity of Girl in a Coma’s Phanie Diaz and Jenn Alva, joined by lead vocalist Letty Martinez and guitarist Aaron Magana.  Their melodic riot grrrl Chicana punk sound secured them a spot on Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records roster. The band is currently on tour including dates with Against Me!. All live dates are listed below.
FEA came together in San Antonio, Texas. Inspired by riot grrrl, they set out to keep pushing its message forward and put their own Chicana twist on it. Their fierce brand of punk marries humor with abandon, English with Spanish, and is unafraid to take on any sacred cow. Existing at the intersection of women’s, immigrants’, and queer people’s struggles, the band draws lines that connect us and seek to empower and inspire dissidence. Those that would oppress us are in FEA’s crosshairs and resistance has never sounded this infectious!
