Welsh rock group Feeder have announced The ‘Best Of’ UK tour, in celebration of their 21st anniversary and in support of their new ‘Best Of’ compilation album. The ‘Best Of’ album will feature all the bands greatest hits over the years, as well as a collection of new material titled ‘Arrow’, and is due for release on the 29th September.
The tour will kick off on the 7th March in Bristol and conclude in London on the 17th March, stopping at Manchester Academy on the 10th March.
In a career spanning 21 years, Feeder have released eight studio albums, three compilations, two EP’s and 34 singles and have spent a total of 181 weeks on the singles and albums charts combined with their own releases, accumulating 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012. As one of a few groups from the 1990s Britpop movement to survive into the following two decades, they have eight UK Top 40 albums, including six UK Top 10 albums and three Top 5 albums.
