(JULY 24, 2012 – TORONTO, ON) – L.A’s FIDLAR have just unleashed a new version of their beloved single “Awkward”. The single, which just premiered on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 evening show, is now available to check out via Soundcloud and the band’s YouTube page. “Awkward” will be available to purchase on August 13, 2013 via iTunes through Dine Alone Records in Canada.
‘Awkward’ (new version)
Recorded and mixed in June 2013 at MANT Studio in Los Angeles with Rob Schnapf at the helm, the new version of “Awkward” characteristically features “a cacophony of irresistible riffs wrapped around the heart of a song showcasing FIDLAR as one of the most vital, unpredictable new bands around.”

The tour includes two Canadian stops in Toronto and Montreal in October. FIDLAR will also be playing a show in Vancouver on September 2nd at the Biltmore Cabaret. For full tour details see below.
